About the Run
Join The Bee County Chamber of Commerce and the South Texas Striders at this year’s Turkey Trot 5K—a fun, family-friendly run designed to bring our community together! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a weekend walker, or simply looking to enjoy the festive spirit, this event offers the perfect blend of excitement and local pride. Participants can look forward to a relaxed, energizing course, great music, and the joyful buzz of neighbors and businesses coming together to celebrate the season.
By joining the Turkey Trot 5K, you're not just signing up for a run—you’re supporting community growth, wellness, and a meaningful local cause. A percentage of all event proceeds will be donated to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to support children in our local area, helping ensure they receive the care, advocacy, and voice they deserve. With the South Texas Striders helping lead the way, this event offers a welcoming atmosphere for all ages and experience levels. CASA Children's Advocacy Center
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Turkey Trot 5K will be donated directly to CASA—Court Appointed Special Advocates—to support the vital work they do for children in our local community. By participating in this event, runners and supporters are helping provide resources that allow CASA volunteers to continue standing beside children who are navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
CASA plays a powerful role in Bee County and surrounding areas by advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are placed in the foster care system. Their trained volunteers work closely with each child, ensuring their needs are heard, their safety is prioritized, and their future is guided with compassion and care. Your participation in the Turkey Trot helps strengthen this mission and brings hope to children who need it most.
